Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Inc. – Animal Health Research Facility

This research facility was constructed for Boehinger Ingelheim Vetmedica for their use in developing animal vaccines. The building is wood framed with exposed fastener metal siding and roofing. The inside of the building is a combination of exposed concrete walls as well as FRP panels to allow the building to be cleaned and sterilized.
The main feature of the building is the HVAC system required to filter and treat the air as well as maintain positive pressures within certain areas of the building to avoid microscopic dirt and organisms from contaminating research.
