This new office building for Computer Transportation Services was designed and constructed using many “green” principles. The building has a sophisticated dimming system that allows the use of natural lighting from the building’s many exterior and interior windows. A geo-thermal horizontal well system is the energy source for the heating and cooling system. The exterior walls and roof both have high R-values to minimize the energy required for the heating and cooling of the building. The roof uses a High-R system to completely fill the purlin space with blown-in insulation above a 1” insulation ceiling panel.
