This new complex includes several structures that house the City of Norwalk’s Public Works Department as well as the Norwalk Public Schools’ Transportation Department.

The 20,850 sq. ft. maintenance building is a pre-engineered metal building with 16 overhead doors.

The 9,000 sq. ft. cold storage building is a wood post framed pre-engineered building and includes a wood framed mezzanine level and kennel space for animal control.

The 4,320 sq. ft. salt/sand structure is a framed fabric pre-engineered building consisting of a steel hoop structure with fabric covering, supported by precast concrete “T” panels.

The 400 sq. ft. brine batching building is wood-framed with an an overhead door, trench drain and a unit heater.
