Iowa Spring Warehouse

As Iowa Spring began the process of purchasing additional equipment that would take up a portion of their existing warehouse, they engaged with Story’s design team about building an addition to their facility to give them more space. The company was also experiencing consistent flooding issues in 2019, so they decided the time was right to move forward with the addition and renovation to parking and site drainage.

The addition to the building’s northeast corner was a 12,000 sq. ft. NUCOR pre-engineered building with two semi loading docks that connected directly to the existing building. 45,000 sq. ft. of new and renovated paving accompanied the addition in order to redirect or restrict the flow of rainwater from higher elevations directly into Iowa Spring’s front entrance.
