Norwalk Public Works Maintenance & School Transportation Facility

Story Construction was the construction manager-agent for this new, 34,570-square-foot complex that houses the City of Norwalk’s Public Works Department as well as the Norwalk Community School District’s Transportation Facility. The project included a 20,850-square-foot vehicle maintenance facility with 16 overhead doors, a welding area, an overhead crane and a built-in floor lift, as well as a 9,000-square-foot cold storage building with kennel space for animal control, a 4,320-square-foot salt/sand bunker and a 400-square-foot brine batching building.
