Story served as General Contractor for Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Inc.’s Ames Research & Development Laboratory in Ames. The project was a 52,100 sq. ft. building featuring a cantilever design on both ends; two levels of floor-to-ceiling windows; open concept work space; a floating conference room overlooking the main level; a green roof, and many other unique aspects. The project finished in the top three in the 2017 Master Builders of Iowa’s Masters Award.
