GMP Development CM at Risk
On projects under CM at Risk delivery, Story Construction will compile and reconcile all trade contractor and supplier pricing against the project’s defined scope of work. We review every bid for completeness to ensure no gaps or overlaps exist between trades. If only one bid is received, or if pricing exceeds the budget, we’ll work with the design team and subcontractors to identify value engineering opportunities before the GMP is finalized, so the number you approve is one you can rely on.

Crew-centered Planning
Construction Production 2.0 is Story’s own in-person planning system. It brings our superintendents, project managers, and trade foremen together through routine planning meetings, shared planning tools, and clear criteria for committing to the work. Each project runs CP 2.0 from a dedicated planning trailer on site. Every crew can see the plan, provide input, and hold one another accountable to it. The result for the owner is fewer surprises, quicker problem-solving, and a schedule the crews doing the work actually believe in.

Project Scheduling
We build your master construction schedule around critical path activities, major milestones, and long-lead procurement items, and we update it as the project advances. Through CP 2.0, we turn each milestone into Crew Workflow Plans that define every trade’s tasks and work areas. Daily Crew Production Targets give each crew ownership of its plan and keep trades sequenced so they don’t stack up in the same space. You receive regular schedule updates that show progress against milestones and flag risks early enough for the team to act on.

Site Logistics & Occupied Facilities
Before mobilization, our team develops a site utilization plan that addresses traffic, deliveries, laydown, equipment, access, and public separation. That plan is built around your operations and with your concerns in mind, considering all site-specific challenges to organize and manage the jobsite effectively and efficiently.
